Two generations of trusted family dentistry.

Established

Dr. Sean McDonough established McDonough Dental to offer unrivalled quality service and care in the Hamilton area. Our patients tell us that our compassion for patients and level of personalized service is unique and it shows in the work we do.

Experienced

Our dentists and staff have deep credentials — and the experience to show for it. Along with extensive and continuing education, we employ the latest technologies and procedures to make sure we stay at the forefront of the industry.

Caring

What’s more important is that we treat each patient with respect and care, striving to create an atmosphere of assurance and trust, while you have the peace of mind that your smile and comfort is being handled by the best in the industry.

Don’t wait

Why are some family doctors and dentists synonymous with waits? Our goal is to eliminate waiting by scheduling your time and making it happen.

Unless you want to

If you’re dropping off a loved one for their appointment, you’re welcome to wait of course. We’ll set you up with a cozy chair and WiFi in our beautiful waiting area. If you are visiting our Upper James location and it’s scheduled to be a while, you can even book yourself in for a treatment at the Spa on the ground floor.

Emergencies

Things happen. So in case of emergency, call us immediately to set up an appointment for the same day. While we cannot guarantee same day consultations, our staff will take every measure so that your emergency needs are addressed as soon as possible.

We’re all one big family

Being a family business extends beyond the partners — the feeling of family can also be felt in how our wonderful staff treat each other and the way we care about our patients.

The result is we’re often told we have a nice place to work, for which we’re proud of, but to us it’s simply how we believe a work environment should be.
